About GNCF

The Greater Nutley Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to cancer survivors and families that have lost a loved one to cancer. Additionally, donations will be made in support of cancer research annually by the Greater Nutley Cancer Foundation.

Where Does the Money Go?

What does the Greater Nutley Cancer Foundation do with the money that is raised?

• We’ve been able to give money to a retired township employee’s family, after he passed away from cancer, to help with their medical insurance that they all lost after he passed.

•  We’ve been able to give money to a Catholic school teacher who had to take a leave of absence to deal with her cancer diagnosis.

•  We’ve been able to help one of our community members who was strug-gling during her husband’s cancer diagnosis. A community member who volunteers around town for about 7 different organizations. Someone who is always giving, we were able to help make her life a little easier.

•  We’ve been able to give money to a family whose 7 year old boy was going through cancer treatments (thankfully now in remission).

•  We have been able to give money to a woman who is going through treatment, and discovered how much money a decent looking wig really costs. Just so she can feel like a normal person again.

•  We were able to give money to a wife who had just lost their husband, and the day she received our check, was the day she had to write a check to the funeral home for the same exact amount.

•  We have been able to make Over $12,000 in donations towards cancer research, to help put an END to cancer
